Delete my data

You can erase everything Hare & Shell stores about you, any time, without contacting us.

In the game (fastest)

  1. Open Hare & Shell and tap the Settings (gear) button on the title screen.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete my data.
  3. Confirm. You need to be online for the cloud part; if you’re offline, the game deletes the device data now and the cloud data the next time it connects.

What gets deleted

  • Your cloud save (progress, runner name, birth year, settings).
  • Your rows on the daily and all-time leaderboards.
  • Your friend code and friends list.
  • Your anonymous player account.
  • All game data on the device. The game starts fresh.
Purchases are tied to your Apple or Google account, not to us. After deleting, use Shop → Restore purchases to get cosmetic items back. Analytics data that is no longer linked to an account is deleted automatically within 14 months.

By email

If you can’t open the game (for example you already uninstalled it), email SUPPORT_EMAIL_HERE with the subject “Delete my data” and your friend code or runner name, and roughly when you last played. We delete the matching data within 30 days and reply to confirm.

Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device.
